How to choose an AI video agency in Nepal: questions to ask

More businesses are now looking for an AI video agency in Nepal, and more providers are appearing to meet that demand. Some are excellent. Some are one person with a subscription to a few tools. You cannot tell the difference from a website alone. This guide gives you a checklist of questions to ask, so you can compare providers fairly and avoid the common mistakes.

Choosing an AI video agency in Nepal: who owns the ad account and files

This is the most important question, so ask it first. Your Facebook page, your ad account and every video made for you should belong to you. That means your business is the owner on record, you can see everything, and you can leave at any time with your history and your files.

Be careful if a provider wants to run ads from their own ad account, keeps your videos until you pay extra, or asks for admin access that you cannot take back. If a provider ever holds your ad account, you are not really a customer, you are a tenant.

Ask plainly: if we stop working together tomorrow, what do I keep?

Who writes the scripts

A video is only as good as the script. Ask whether someone writes the script for your business or whether you are expected to bring it. Ask to see how they learn about your product and your customer. A good provider asks questions first: who buys, what do they worry about, what is the offer and what should people do next.

Be wary of providers who reuse the same script for every business with the name swapped. Customers notice when an ad could be for any business.

Is there human review

AI tools make mistakes. Hands look strange, products change shape between frames, and Nepali text can come out with spelling errors. Ask who checks each video before it reaches you, and what they check. The right answer is a named process carried out by people, not a promise that the tool is accurate.

Nepali language quality

Ask for samples in Nepali, not only English. Listen to the voice. Does it sound like a person you would trust, or like a machine reading a translation? Look at the on-screen text. Is the spelling right? Does the wording match how customers actually talk, including mixed Nepali and English where that is natural?

If you will advertise to people in Kathmandu, Pokhara and other cities, check that the tone fits them.

How many videos each month, and revisions

Ask for a number, not a word like "unlimited". How many videos per month, how long is each, and what formats do they come in for Facebook and Instagram? Then ask how many rounds of revisions are included and what counts as a revision.

New ads every month matter because people get tired of seeing the same one. A provider who delivers once and disappears leaves you with ads that slowly stop working. Our AI video ad cost guide explains how to compare quotes line by line.

Who runs the ads

Making a video and running an ad campaign are two jobs. Some providers do both, some do only one. Ask which applies and who is responsible for setup, audiences, budgets, testing and improving. If the ads are run for you, ask that they run in your own ad account, and that you can see them there yourself.

If you are weighing whether to hire help with this, our page on Facebook and Instagram ads management describes what that job involves.

Reporting

You should be able to see how your ads are doing without having to chase for it. Ask what you will receive, how often, and in what form. The useful numbers are the ones tied to your goal: messages, calls, leads or sales, and what each cost. Reach and likes alone are not enough. Ask who answers questions when a number looks wrong.

Contract length and payment

Ask how long you are tied in. Month to month is the lowest-risk way to start, because you can leave if it is not working. Long contracts paid up front deserve extra care. Check what the monthly price covers, what is extra, and that ad spend is paid by you directly to Meta rather than passed through the provider with a markup you cannot see.

Honesty about AI

A good provider is open that the ads are made with AI. They should also have clear limits: no fake testimonials, no invented customers, no celebrity faces without permission, and no showing results your business did not achieve. Apart from being dishonest, that kind of content can also get ads rejected or your account into trouble. Ask what they will refuse to make.

What to do next

Pick two or three providers, send each the same short list of questions above, and ask for answers in writing. Compare them side by side, and ask each for a Nepali sample.
